DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are searching for three gunmen who shot a robbery victim and an innocent bystander.
Officers say the shooting happened in the parking lot of Paradise East Apartments on Bouldercrest Road in southeast Atlanta overnight Wednesday.
When officers arrived, they found two people had been shot.
According to one of the victims, he told police three men pulled out guns and tried to rob him. At point during the robbery, one of the gunmen opened fire hitting the victim. One of the bullets also struck an innocent bystander, police say.
The victim and the bystander were rushed to a local hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.
Police have not yet released any information on the gunmen.
