ATLANTA — Police blocked off Clifton Road for hours Friday morning after a suspicious package was found.
The package was found along the roadway on Clifton Road between Houston Mill and Old Briarcliff around 6 a.m.
Police did not say what was in the package.
The bomb squad was called out to investigate, per protocol.
All lanes have since reopened.
