PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — The Paulding County School District has issued more than 500 laptops to students.
It’s all thanks to a new program called “1:1.”

Ritch Middle School students were the first to receive the much-needed devices.
“We are responding to the needs of our students, families, and teachers by providing the resources needed to Engage, Inspire, and Prepare all of our students for success,” Paulding County Schools Chief Information Officer Julie Ragsdale said in a statement.

All students will be able to use the laptops in classrooms and at home. However, elementary students will have to leave them at school.
The district plans to distribute more laptops over the next few months.
