Police: Man groped Target employee, left her glowing review

ROSWELL, Ga. — A man charged with groping a Target employee wasn't hard to identify, Roswell police said.

Police told Channel 2’s Mike Petchenik that the incident was reported last fall at a now-closed store on Holcomb Bridge Road.

The incident was reported last fall at a now-closed store on Holcomb Bridge Road.

“She was approached by a man who started coming up to her close, started making sexual comments to her and ultimately started hugging her and pulling her in close,” said Officer Lisa Holland.

Holland told Petchenik that the suspect left a pretty big clue on his way out of the store.

“While he was leaving the store, he ended up filling out a comment card on the employee, saying how wonderful she was, and put his real name on there,” Holland said.

She said detectives took out warrants for Ira Davis, but it wasn’t until last week that police in Sandy Springs picked him up on the warrant after a call about suspicious people.
