SMYRNA, Ga. — A man was found dead on the ground outside a Cobb County motel on Windy Hill Road late Wednesday night.
People at the Masters Inn say they heard two to three shots and then later found the man outside one of the rooms.
Channel 2 Action News learned the shooting started off as an argument inside one of the rooms at the motel and then spilled onto the breezeway.
Cobb County police detained one man for questioning and are still looking for a second person.
Detectives interviewed several potential witnesses inside the motel's lobby.
