FOREST PARK, Ga. — Less than seven hours after being abducted, 1-year-old Annyah Buchannon has been reunited with her mother.
Channel 2's Darryn Moore was waiting at the Forest Park Police Department with the mother when the pair was reunited just before 7 a.m.
Investigators are checking on the girl's condition.
Annyah was abducted when her mother's car was stolen outside a 24-hour day care on Conley Road just after midnight on Wednesday. Victoria Buchannon said she picked her youngest daughter up from day care and put her in her car seat, but when she went back inside to get her oldest daughter, her car was stolen.
Someone recognized the missing car about a mile and a half away and called police. Officers found Annyah asleep in the back seat.
