FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A judge has granted a continuance of the deposition of Andrea Sneiderman in her visitation dispute with her in-laws.
Sneiderman, 36, was arrested last week and charged with murder in the death of her husband, Rusty Sneiderman. Since then, her husband's parents said they have been cut off from their regular Skype chats with the couple's two children.
Andrea Sneiderman's parents are currently caring for the children, but Rusty Sneiderman's parents have filed for custody, accusing her parents of interfering in the investigation into their son's death.
Andrea Sneiderman's attorneys argued that she was unable to prepare for Friday's scheduled deposition while behind bars. They also noted that she is focused on the criminal charges against her.
Hemy Neuman, Andrea Sneiderman's former supervisor, is serving a life sentence after being convicted earlier this year of murdering Rusty Sneiderman, who was shot and killed outside his son's Dunwoody preschool.
Prosecutors allege that Andrea Sneiderman was having an affair with Neuman, but she has denied the affair and any involvement in her husband's death.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Bensonetta Tipton ruled that the deposition be rescheduled for September or October.
