Woman says man accused of killing husband in front of son is 'cold-blooded monster'

HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A widow said she believes one of the men accused in her husband's murder is a monster.

Dennis Gayton was shot in front of his 15-year-old son in the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard in April, Gainesville police said.

On Thursday, police said Tadrick Osborne was charged with felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

It's believed he's an accomplice in the shooting. Police said Osborne was already at the Hall County Jail on unrelated charges.

"That's what I call you is a monster," Jonie Gayton told Channel 2's Chris Jose in reference to Studivant. "That's what you are. You're a monster to me. A cold-blooded monster."

Police said Studivant is considered armed and dangerous. Investigators believe he's still in the Atlanta area.

“Why would you come up with a child in a car and put a gun to somebody’s head, try to rob them, take a life and commit cold blooded murder?” said Gayton. “I just want to know why. Why did you put a bullet into my husband’s head?”
