GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE: The restaurant was reinspected and received a 97.
-----
A popular chain restaurant in Snellville has failed a health inspection with a score of 64.
When customer Tonia Allen learned the O’Charley’s on Highway 124 failed the inspection on Feb. 15, she was very surprised.
Allen told Channel 2's Carol Sbarge that she eats there often with her mother-in-law.
The 64 comes after the O'Charley’s got two good inspection scores last year -- a 93 and a 92.

Some of the violations this time include observed fruit fly in a liquor bottle, dented can of artichokes and pot pies in the walk-in cooler not being held cold enough.
Sbarge went to the Snellville O'Charley’s to ask about the violations.
She was referred to the corporate office in Nashville.
In a statement, the company said, "O'Charley's is dedicated to providing quality food to our guests. Since these scores were given, we have already begun to address these issues."
The company went on to say they are using an independent third party to evaluate their safety and health standards and are making immediate adjustments as needed.
A Gwinnett County Health inspector will do a re-inspection this month. We'll let you know how the restaurant does.
