GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating a shooting involving at least one of their officers.
The shooting happened around 10:30 a.m. on Foxcroft Road in unincorporated Gwinnett County near Lawrenceville.
Officers say a teenager called 911 and said his mom and stepdad were arguing in their home and his stepdad had gotten his gun.

The first officer who arrived at the home said he heard a gunshot coming from the backyard as he walked up.
He saw a man holding a gun and shouted for him to drop the weapon.
The suspect, whose identity has not been released, pointed his gun at the officer. That’s when the officer shot the man in the leg.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
