GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A 21-year-old man who has faced a judge more than 20 times went to court again accused in the murder of pizza delivery man.
Jermaine Young was dressed in a green jail jumpsuit and appeared extremely comfortable.
Gwinnett police say Young and his friend, 14-year-old, Reginald Lofton, lured the delivery driver to a Gwinnett County apartment complex.
Police said when Shane Varnadore arrived, they robbed him of four pizzas, shot him and left him to die.
Gwinnett leaders plan to charge Lofton as an adult.
Lofton and Young are facing three charges: aggravated assault, armed robbery and murder.
They are both from Chicago.
Channel 2 Action News found Young has 22 criminal cases, like robbery and assault, tied to his name there.
Sources tell Channel 2 they moved to Lawrenceville to start over.
On Friday, Young learned he does not have a bond.
During his first appearance Young told the judge he is unemployed.
"Are you asking me to appoint an attorney?" she questioned.
"Yes, ma'am," he responded.
Young's preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 18th at 1:30 pm.
