GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police have arrested a 17-year-old in the shooting death of a 20-year-old Gwinnett County man last weekend.
Police responded to a shooting on Foxberry Run in Loganville just prior to 6 a.m. on March 13. Police found Devond Holmes dead inside a vehicle at the scene. A 16-year-old was also injured. That victim’s condition and identity have not been released.

Police arrested Makilyn Manzie on March 17 after identifying him by following up on leads and evidence left behind at the scene.
Detectives are still trying to determine the motive.

Manzie has been charged with aggravated assault, felony murder, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
