GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Department of Labor center in Gwinnett County will be closed for nearly a month after several water leaks developed.
Channel 2 Action News got a look inside the career center on Beaver Ruin Road Wednesday.
Dozens of ceiling tiles collapsed and 200 buckets are spread across the floor to catch the dripping water.
Officials said recent storms made an ongoing problem much worse.
Surprised jobseekers were not too happy to find the facility closed.
"You have to consider the more driving you do the more gas you're running. The more gas you have to put in your car, the more money you've got to make. And I'm not making any," said Pat Ferguson.
The facility is expected to be back open and fully operational on March 17.
