CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. - A driver was killed by a falling tree Thursday morning, Georgia State Patrol said.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened on Highway 113 between Spinks Road and Hickory Level Road.

A tree approximately 30 feet off the road fell onto the vehicle, killing the driver, GSP said.
