The mother and daughter testified about how they were afraid to go out in public because of allegations by Trump’s former attorney. They said he wrongfully accused them of committing voter fraud and they faced retaliation because of that.
Powerful testimony on Tuesday from Wandrea Arshaye Moss, a former Georgia election worker.
“A lot of threats. Wishing death upon me,” Moss said.

Former Georgia poll workers said they faced intimidation because of false claims of a stolen election.
The committee played video of former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani calling out Shaye Moss and her mother Ruby by name, falsely claiming they were involved with voter fraud.
“Video from earlier today of Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss and one other gentleman quite obviously and surreptitiously passing around USB ports as if they’re vials of heroin or cocaine,” Giuliani said “Their places of work, their homes should have been searched.”
“I’ve lost my name and I’ve lost my reputation. I’ve lost my sense of security all because a group of people starting with number 45 and his ally Rudy Giuliani decided to scapegoat me and my daughter Shaye.” former election worker Ruby Freeman said.
The committee worked to show that the poll workers were unfairly targeted based on false allegations.
“Mr. Giuliani accused you and your mother of passing some sort of USB drive to each other. What was your mom actually handing you on that video?” Rep. Schiff asked Moss. “A ginger mint.” Moss replied.
Both women said they left their own homes for several months because of fear from the threats.
The next Jan. 6 committee hearing is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
Former President Trump released a statement on Tuesday saying that the Arizona Speaker of the House told Trump that he won the state of Arizona.
