FORT STEWART, Ga. — A shelter-in-place that was issued at a Georgia Army base Monday afternoon has been lifted.
Fort Stewart officials asked people to avoid the area of Bryan Village as there is still an ongoing incident in that area.
The base was the site of a mass shooting earlier this year. Five soldiers were shot at Fort Stewart in August.
This is a developing story.
