FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News has confirmed that a construction worker has died at Pinewood Studios in Fayette County.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Pinewood Studios spokesman Frank Patterson said a 41-year-old male contract construction worker fell while working on a new warehouse that is not related to any productions going on at the studios.

Pinewood Studios has been one of the big studios that Disney has used over the last few years for filming many of the Marvel Comics franchise movies.
"Passengers," starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt was also filmed there.
In a statement, the studio said:
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of a subcontractor who was fatally injured in an accident today on a construction site at Pinewood Atlanta Studios. As the project's general contractor, we promptly informed the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and are cooperating with the ongoing investigation. We hope to learn more in the coming days about what caused this tragedy, as safety is our top concern at this and all of our project sites."
