Ex-WWE star Scott Hall dies at 63 after suffering multiple heart attacks

ATLANTA — Former WWE superstar Scott Hall has passed away at the age of 63, according to the WWE.

Hall broke his hip last week and was recovering in a Georgia hospital after hip replacement surgery when he suffered multiple heart attacks while in the hospital, according to reports. Hall was placed on life support.

The WWE released a statement Monday night confirming the news that reads, “WWE is saddened to learn that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has passed away. WWE extends its condolences to Hall’s family, friends and fans.”

Hall wrestled in WWF in the 1990s under the name Razor Ramon. He left the WWF in 1996 and became a founding member of WCW’s New World Order, along with Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash.

He retired in 2010 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014.
