Escaped Clayton County suspect now on most wanted list

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A man who slipped out of handcuffs after a police raid in Clayton County has been added to the county's most wanted list.
 
Larry Demon Edwards was taken into custody early Thursday as police raided homes in connection to home invasion robberies. After he was placed in the rear of a patrol vehicle, he was able to slip out of his restraints and escape from the rear of the car.
 
Edwards was added as No. 3 on Sheriff Victor Hill's top 10 most wanted and an extensive manhunt is under way.
 
Edwards is described as a 5-foot-6, 140-pound black male with visible tattoos on his neck.
