ATLANTA — A suspicious package shut down Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta Tuesday morning.
Police said the package was mailed to the Equitable building on Monday.
Peachtree Street was closed from Auburn Avenue to Ellis Street for about an hour until the package was cleared around 9 a.m.
