• Disabled man rescued in Chamblee apartment fire


    DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A disabled elderly man was rescued during an apartment fire off Chamblee Tucker Road on Sunday morning.

    Channel 2’s Amanda Cook was at the scene of the fire that happened at about 11 a.m. at the Lake Louise Apartments on Evans Road.

    DeKalb County firefighters were able to rescue the man and his two cats.

    There were no other injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
