Deputies searching for missing 69-year-old woman who left home without medications

HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — Deputies are searching for a missing 69-year-old woman they say drove away from her home last week.

The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office says Mylessa Zimmerman left her home on Feb. 11 around 10 p.m. and hasn’t been seen since.

Zimmerman is described as 5 foot 1 and 135 pounds with blue eyes and white hair.

Deputies said Zimmerman is known to frequent the areas between Turnerville and Carnesville and was last seen at her home in Turnerville.

Zimmerman’s vehicle, a 2015 maroon Chevrolet Malibu with license plate TLZ930 is also missing.

Her neice, Serena Freeman, said she left home without her medications.

“She is forgetful at times and has other medical conditions that require daily medication. She left without her daily medication, identification and credit/debit cards,” Freeman wrote on Facebook. “She has very little cash , if any.”
