Deputies: Man used Craigslist job posting to kidnap, rape woman

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — Paulding County deputies say a man used a Craigslist job posting to lure a woman to a home and rape her.

Authorities said the woman answered an ad to be a bartender for a party at a private home on Memorial Day, but when she arrived at the home, she was held against her will and raped.

Investigators spent much of the day Wednesday searching the home on Mount Tabor Church Road for evidence.

A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged with rape and aggravated assault, but deputies did not identify him because they are looking for other potential victims.

Investigators said more charges could follow.
