ATLANTA — Delta Air Lines is looking to provide passengers with a new experience before boarding their flight.

The airline recently introduced a beta model of what they are coining “Parallel Reality” which customers flying out of Detroit Metropolitan Airport experienced officially on last month.
Parallel Reality allows up to 100 customers to simultaneously see personalized content tailored to their unique journey on a single digital screen. Customers who choose this experience will be provided customized flight and wayfinding information.

“This technology truly must be seen to be believed. We can’t wait for customers to experience the ease and convenience it can bring to their journeys, especially when paired with the wayfinding and personalization capabilities of the Fly Delta app,” said Ranjan Goswami, S.V.P. – Customer Experience.

Delta officials say Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport has received the digital identity technology, however it is unclear when officials will provide this experience to customers.
