DEKALB COUNTY, Ga — A busy portion of Briarcliff Road near North Druid Hills will be closed on Monday while crews replace a broken manhole.
Monday, a portion of the northbound lane along Briarcliff Road, near North Druid Hills Road, will be closed Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while crews work to replace a broken manhole cover.
The construction work will close a lane at the intersection of Briarcliff Road Northeast and North Druid Hills Road.
Drivers should expect delays, according to DeKalb County. Lane closure signs and traffic flaggers will help drivers in moving safely around the lane closure.
Construction crews will work diligently to minimize the length of impact to motorists.

The DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management says it started the construction project to address the repair needs of approximately 100,000 linear feet of water pipe as a part of ongoing maintenance to improve water service countywide.
