Police searching for driver involved in 3 hit-and-runs in just hours that left 1 dead

DeKalb County police are searching for a car that involved in three separate hit-and-runs in a matter of hours -- one of which left a man dead.

Police said that a man was struck by car and killed around 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Wade Walker Park. The victim's vehicle, a silver 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe, was stolen.

A vehicle matching that description was involved in the hit-and-run with a family of six on bicycles at North Dekalb Mall around 2:30 p.m., severely injuring a 4-year-old.

Police said the same vehicle was involved in another accident in another jurisdiction around 12 p.m., but they haven't released the details of that accident.

The suspect has been described as a black male. The SUV has a handicap tag number TBV359.
