DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News has learned Gov. Nathan Deal has signed an executive order, suspending DeKalb County Sheriff Jeffrey Mann for 40 days.
Mann was arrested and charged in Piedmont Park on May 6 for exposing himself and running from police.

Mann is accused on performing sex acts on himself and exposing his private parts in the park. Then, police say, he ran from the arresting officer.
Deal's executive order will go into effect on Tuesday.
The order says the governor will appoint a temporary replacement for Mann while he is on suspension.
