DeKalb to give out thousands of COVID-19 tests for MLK Jr. Day

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County plans to distribute thousands of COVID-19 test kits Monday as part of its Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebration.

The kits will be given out at three sites beginning at 2 p.m.:

  • The Gallery at South DeKalb, 2801 Candler Rd., Decatur.
  • North DeKalb Mall, 2050 Lawrenceville Hwy., Decatur.
  • Plaza Fiesta, 4166 Buford Hwy., Atlanta.

Residents can stay in their cars to pick up the test kits or walk up to the sites. Kits will be limited to one per person. The county said it plans to distribute 10,000 kits in total.
