Some of the most popular pros on ABC's Dancing with the Stars" are returning to the ballroom for season 21, including Derek Hough, Mark Ballas and Karina Smirnoff.
Smirnoff was absent from season 20, which was won by pro Val Chmerkovskiy and celebrity partner Rumer Willis. Chmerkovskiy will also be returning this season.
The announcement came Wednesday on "Good Morning America."
The other pros coming back for season 21 are Artem Chigvintsev, Allison Holker, Sharna Burgess, Peta Murgatroyd and Witney Carson.
Veterans Tony Dovolani and Kym Johnson were noticeably absent from the list, but more season 21 pros are expected to be announced at a later date.
The new celebrity cast will be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 2 on "Good Morning America."
