GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County firefighters are battling a large fire near the intersection of Holcomb Bridge Road and Spaulding.
Gwinnett County Fire spokesman Jarrod Barrett said they got a call about the fire at about 9:15 p.m. at the Spalding Center strip mall near the intersection.
At about 10:30 p.m., Barrett said they had most of the fire knocked down and would be moving in to put out possible hot spots.
Barrett said firefighters worked quickly get the fire under control to prevent it from spreading to a gas station nearby and other businesses.
