NEWNAN, Ga. — Three people, including a Newnan police officer and a child, were hurt in an accident involving a patrol car Saturday night.
Police said that an officer was responding to an emergency call when another driver turned in front of him. The officer t-boned the other car.
Three people were taken to hospitals including the officer, a child in the other car and that car’s driver. The victim’s names and conditions have not been released.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
