COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating a shooting that took place early Thursday morning at an apartment complex.

Cobb County police said around 1:24 a.m., officers received reports of a shooting at the Premier Apartments located on Premier Lane in Austell.
When officers arrived, they found 23-year-old Phil Ray of Austell in front of building 300 with a gunshot wound to his foot and 19-year-old Jamari Payne of Woodstock in front of building 313 with a gunshot wound in the arm and torso.
Both were taken to the hospital where they are listed in stable condition.
It is unclear if anyone has been taken into custody.

It is unclear what led to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
