COBB COUNTY, Ga. — NorthStar Church in Kennesaw noticed a need in the community and decided to help. The church saw an immediate need and addressed a problem facing many communities during the pandemic.
The church is using $30,000 to help the community in which they serve. The church is using this money in 3 different ways.

First, the church is assisting families with paying down their rent and utility bills. Second, the church will purchase laptops for students in need if their families can’t afford to buy them. Lastly, the church will provide small scholarships to needy students who are seeking higher education.
The funds donated by the church will be immediately used by students during this current school year.
