COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Divers have recovered the body of a 20-year-old man from the Chattahoochee River after he vanished while swimming earlier this week.

The Cobb County Dive Team recovered the body around 11 a.m. Friday in 13 feet of water.

Officials with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said the swimmer disappeared Monday while trying to swim to a popular diving rock.
