COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Cobb County fire officials are working to determine the cause of an apartment fire.

Fire officials told Channel 2 Action News units responded to reports of a fire at the Rosemont City View apartments on Barnes Road in Marietta.
When crews arrived, they reported heavy fire coming through the roof of the building.

Crews confirmed that no injuries were reported in the fire; however, 12 apartments were destroyed.
Officials confirmed the Red Cross is assisting the 12 families who lost their homes.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
