DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News has learned the Chief of Staff for DeKalb County's interim CEO is on medical leave.
A source tells us Edmond Richardson has been suffering chest pains.
A Channel 2 Action News investigation last week revealed that Richardson funneled work to Jeremy Clark for a youth outreach program even though there was no signed contract.
We also reported that Richardson broke county policy by hiring Clark because it overlapped with his time on the zoning board.
Clark has pleaded guilty to accepting bribes in connection with his role on the zoning board.
