CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News has learned a vehicle has crashed into a Cherokee County school.
No students or school faculty were injured at the Ace Academy is located on Knox Bridge Highway in Canton.
Authorities tell us that a driver suffered a medical emergency while arriving at the school to pick up their child.

Their vehicle crashed into the exterior wall of the school, which caused damage to the cafeteria.

The cafeteria was empty at the time.
Two people who were in the vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Parents said the school sent them an email to let them know what happened.
Structural engineers will be out to assess the damage.
