Every year, an expert craftsman works for three months to craft a new trophy, which the winning team gets to keep and permanently display on campus.

Monday night’s win was the first championship for the Dawgs since the 1980 season. It was also the first time Georgia defeated Nick Saban and Alabama since 2007.

The on-campus championship parade and celebration is set for Saturday afternoon.
