In the top of the ninth inning, the umpire crew ruled that Philadelphia third baseman Alec Bohm slid into home plate safe.

Braves fans argued that the replay appeared to show Bohm did not touch the plate with his left foot.

The ruling went to the replay booth, where the call stood after there wasn’t enough to overturn the call.

Channel 2 sports director Zach Klein asked Braves catcher Travis D’arnaud if he has lost faith in replay system after Sunday night’s call.

“Absolutely. What’s the pointing of having it. It just slows the game down. I’d rather not have it if they can’t get it right,” he said.

Braves pitcher Drew Smyly agreed. Meanwhile Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson had a bigger issue with the fans reaction to the call as some threw items onto the field.

“There a few things that bother me... I love the fans, they are passionate and they care. That was the most embarrassing thing of the whole night. Not the call, fans were a disrespectful representation of our city,” Swanson said.
