ATLANTA — Eight people have been arrested after a SWAT standoff in northwest Atlanta.
Police said they got a call around 1 a.m. Monday about a group of men who were armed and possibly shooting weapons.

Police responded to the scene on Hollowell Parkway and arrested two adults and one juvenile.
They also confiscated two rifles, authorities said. According to police, one of the rifles was stolen from a pawn shop.
Police said a group of men ran into the Crazy Cutz barbershop, where the standoff began.
The five men in the barbershop surrendered to police around 6 a.m.

“There were five folks, five adults, who ended up giving up and were taken down to the headquarters to be interviewed,” Atlanta police Capt. John Quigley said.
