Players, teams remember NFL star Demaryius Thomas

ATLANTA — The sports world is in shock after the death of NFL player Demaryius Thomas.

The 33-year-old died Thursday night at his Roswell home. Police told Channel 2 Action News he died of a medical condition. A family member told the Associated Press that she believed he died of a seizure, which he suffered from for years.

Thomas played for Georgia Tech in college and went on to play for the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, New England Patriots and the New York Jets. His fans, former teammates and others in the sports world are paying respect to the star player on social media.
