ATLANTA — The owner of a restaurant in Midtown Atlanta is fed up after two back-to-back break-ins. Now Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward to help catch the guy who stole twice from Moe's Original Bar B Que.
Owner Brett Mancuso told Channel 2's Carol Sbarge he is extremely frustrated. Cameras in the restaurant on 14th Street caught the burglar breaking in a back door March 14. He stole about $3,200 and a laptop. The same man broke in a week later and stole a replacement computer.
Mancuso says people work so hard in the restaurant business and every penny counts. He says to have some guy come back to steal really hurts.
Mancuso says when he opened five years ago a burglar stole TVs within weeks. He is sick of break-ins and is asking anyone who recognizes the latest burglar to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS.
