Body camera footage of deadly standoff with man tied to 40+ murders released

Police have now released the body camera footage of an hours-long standoff with an alleged gang member tied to more than 40 murders.

U.S. Marshals were serving an arrest warrant at the Arium Morgan Falls Apartments to alleged Triple C gang founder Gary Creek when bullets started flying.

Sandy Springs police say Creek was wanted in connection to over 18 murders and more than 20 attempted murders.

After four hours, SWAT teams entered the apartment and heard a single gunshot. They then found Creek dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Officers were able to get a woman, two children and a small dog that were inside the apartment during the standoff to safety.

No officers or hostages were injured in the standoff.
