ATLANTA — Atlanta police are asking the public for help in finding a man they say shot someone on Pine Street downtown while riding a scooter in late July.

Police have surveillance video showing the suspect riding an e-scooter, wearing a green t-shirt, blue jeans and a bookbag at the intersection of Pine Street and Courtland Street.
Police said they believe the suspect and another man got into an argument that escalated to gun fire. They said the man on the scooter shot the other man who was transported to the hospital.

Atlanta police investigators are asking anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspect to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers Atlanta.
