ATLANTA — Police are investigating what led up to a shooting that left two people injured at Greenbriar Mall.
Channel 2’s Audrey Washington was at the scene on Thursday afternoon and learned that the shooting sprang from an incident along Senegal Way just before 3 p.m., about a quarter of a mile away from the mall.
In a statement from Hendon Properties, which owns Greenbriar Mall, it said the men arrived in a car at the mall parking lot with gunshot wounds and called 911.

Hendon said there were no shots fired at the mall, and the shooting did not happen on the mall’s property.
According to police, the men are 19 years old.
The men were then taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for their injuries. Police said the men were alert, conscious, and breathing.
Greenbriar Mall remains open at this time.
