In a rematch of last year’s semifinal, Ben Shelton and Jannik Sinner met again down under for Wednesday’s Australian Open quarterfinals.

But it was Sinner once again who advanced to the next round. Shelton lost in straight sets (3-6, 4-6, 4-6) to the world’s No. 2 ranked player. Sinner will face Novak Djokovic in the semifinals.
