FOREST PARK, Ga. — The Forest Park Police Department announced they've made an arrest in the beating and robbery at a floral shop on Nov. 8.
The 73-year-old owner of the Red & Gold Florist was robbed at knifepoint and then brutally attacked.
Police said a customer found Pat White lying on the sofa with head and facial injuries at the store on College Street.
Juwanza Hoard, 18, is facing armed robbery and assault charges in the alleged attack.
White said she's tough and she feels like she was born to love and care for people, even the teen who allegedly beat her.
"I like to believe in people. I would like to see him turn around and make something of his life," said White. "I love doing for people and this is one way I can do it."
Detectives released a sketch of White's suspected attacker. They said several tips helped them locate and arrest Hoard.
