COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities have recaptured two inmates who escaped from the Cobb County Jail.
The jail is on County Services Parkway in Marietta.
Cobb County Police said the inmates escaped through the kitchen while on work detail. The inmates were classified by the Sheriff's Office as "low risk".
SWAT and police from several departments spent the evening looking for the men.
Channel 2's Ross Cavitt watched as they detained Richard Hattersley, 44. Police later found Trevor Mandich, 22, who was in jail on burglary and probation violation charges.
The Sheriff's Office said both men would be charged with escape.
