ATLANTA — Police tell Channel 2 Action News that a 12-year-old who, family members said, disappeared from a downtown Atlanta public library, has been found.
The family of Janiha Pazhedath reported her missing Wednesday.
Family members told officers the girl was chatting with someone on Facebook at the Central Library on Margaret Mitchell Square before she disappeared. Police said two relatives searched the library and notified Pazhedath's mother when they couldn't find her.
The mother notified library security and MARTA police, police said.
Police said the girl was reunited with her mother Thursday night and is said to be OK.
