GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a triple shooting Sunday night that left at least one person dead.
The shooting happened at the Bristol Court Apartments on Westchase Village Lane in Norcross. Authorities believe there was a drug deal was underway in the area when the shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police said they first received reports of a fight inside the apartment before responding to reports of gunfire. The victims were found in different parts of the large complex off Peachtree Corners Circle.
On Monday, police charged Talon Dunkentell with obstruction and booked her into jail for the gunshots she received.
"A male also critically injured from a gunshot wound and a female who received non-life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound," Officer Jerry Richter said.
Police said the shooter ran, but they are not sure if the person was alone.
